Yes – please check that any AdBlue® that you purchase is made to ISO 22241 specifications. AirNox produce AdBlue® which is ISO 22241 compliant. Our AdBlue® is suitable for all vehicles which require AdBlue®. The brand of the AdBlue® does not have impact on the quality of the product provided the manufacturer produce AdBlue® following ISO 22241 standards.

Like the diesel storage tank, the AdBlue® storage tank is big enough to store AdBlue® that can run for a while before a scheduled servicing/refilling. Your vehicle will automatically use AdBlue® at the required amount, depending on your driving behaviour. AdBlue® usage is typically between 4% to 8% of diesel used for commercial vehicles. For every 100 litres of diesel used, you will need four (4) to eight (8) litres of AdBlue®.

On the other hand, the average use of AdBlue® for passenger cars is 1.5 litres for every 1000km. The AdBlue® warning light will come on when you have about three (3) litres left which should be enough to drive for approximately 2000km.

The 2000km driving range should be enough for an average customer to order AdBlue® online at: www.airnoxblue.co.za or www.airnox.co.za. Don’t hesitate to contact www.airnoxblue.com for international customers interested in buying AdBlue® in bulk.

No, there is a separate AdBlue® tank on vehicles that require AdBlue®.

For Bulk Containers (1000 litre IBC’s and Barrels), provided AdBlue® is stored at a constant ambient temperature below 30 degrees Celsius, out of direct sunlight and in accordance with the instructions on the container, its shelf life is 12 months.

For small pack containers (5,10 and 20 litre cans) if the container remains un-opened and it is stored at a constant ambient temperature below 30 degrees Celsius, out of direct sunlight and in accordance with the instructions on the container, its shelf life is 12 months. We do recommend that once opened the can is used in full, to minimise any risk of contamination potentially caused during the process of re-sealing the can and storing the spout for later use.

Unfortunately not, we are only able to accept AirNox empty Drum/Barrels/IBC’s as part of our ISO22241 quality assurance.

No, we do not carry or accept cash payment at all. All payment is done online or EFT into AirNox bank account.
